Autumn (September-November)
Autumn season is the main trekking season in Nepal. September, October and November falls during this month with the clear sky and mountain views, calm weather, great Nepalese festival time and outstanding nature.
Winter Season (December-November)
Winter season is considered as the off-season in Nepal because of chilling cold in Himalayan region. The high altitude area receives heavy snowfall even in trekking path so you can trek to low altitude below 3300m. December, January and February falls during this season. You can visit during Merry Christmas and Happy New Year holidays to Nepal during winter.
Spring Season (March-May)
Spring season is the second popular and busy trekking season in Nepal as the trekking trails are colorful with the dense rhododendron flowers decorating the trees. April and May months are fall in this trekking season in Nepal.
Monsoon Season (June-August)
Monsoon season is also not prefered time for trekking as the skies get cloudy, trekking trails are muddy and scary leeches in the path. There are some special rain shadow areas which are best for trekking during monsoon season.
