The training and festival of adventure sport of skiing are to take place in the base camp of Annapurna mountain – the prime tourism destination located in the Annapurna trekking route.
The Ski and Snowing Foundation is organizing the 13-day 'Ski for Nepal' program with free of cost training to increase additional tourism activities in the Annapurna Base Camp during the snow season.
Ski sporting skills, methods, and art would be imparted to the trainees in the base camp for five days. The program would kick off on February 10.
As many as 50 participants including domestic and foreigners would take part in the program to be held at the site with an altitude of around 4,100 meters, shared Foundation Chairperson Utsav Pathak.
