Peak Climbing in Nepal in 2017

Hiking and trekking in the Himalayan ranges is a common practice. You can choose shorter trips or longer trips but the view you shall get will be heavenly.

The Pisang peak climbing route
Within the Manang district comes the Pisang peak in the Annapurna ranges. At the end of the Pisang peak climbing you shall see the triangular, pyramidal peak of Pisang. The most well connected and visited route of the Annapurna circuit includes the Pisang peak. The 21 day trek is very popular amongst people. You will come across a hinging glacier in the western side of the mountain which is a challenge to cross. You begin your journey from Kathmandu and following the main Annapurna circuit route you reach Pisang in 5 days. For setting up a base camp you need to walk from the Pisang village to Kharka covering a forest and pasture lands. At 5400m the high camp is set where it snows from November end till March end. This is the south west ridge. The highest peak is steep and difficult to reach. Once you cover that way you can see the Tilicho peak, Annapurna II and IV, Gangapurna and the Glacier dome. While returning you can choose the Thorong La pass.

The route of the Chulu East Peak Climbing
One of most popular treks is this one. The Chulu East peak climbing shall result in the viewing of Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Dhaulagiri, Glacier dome and Manaslu. The trekking route is almost common as you go to the Marshyangdi valley around the Annapurna, cross the Thorong pass and reach just before the Kali Gandaki valley which leads to Pokhara. You shall require all the climbing tools to cover this journey of 25 days if you trek for 6 hours per day before sunset. The highest point you shall reach is at 6584m and the lowest being 854m above sea level.

The Island Peak Climbing
The trek shall include snowy glaciers and rising up to 20000ft above sea level. You shall the Island peak climbing from Kathmandu and reach Lukla (9350ft) for fresh air. Then you rise above, visit the monasteries that come across and reach the Thyangboche monastery at 12,887ft covering the Khumbu region. After hiking above at 18,450ft in Kala Pattar you will receive the view of the Mother Goddess of the World and other high peaks in a panorama. Finally you rest at the Island peak which presents before you the foot of Mount Everest at 20,305ft.
